PennPal

       -- Our Logo Horse

"PennPal", our logo horse, represents the Pennsylvania Palomino, symbolically standing on one of the green Pennylvania hills which are found pretty much all over our state. PennPal could be of any breed, as Pennsylvania Palominos come in many types including Quarter Horses, Saddlebreds, Morgans, Paints, Throughbreds, Half Arabians, Tennessee Walkers, Arabians, Appaloosas, Missouri Foxtrotters, Ponies, and many more! PennPal was created in the summer of 2000 by our Show Manager, Merle Kuznik, who had passed her 82nd birthday at the time. Merle taught elementary school for 32 years, including art classes, but she claims to be no special designer. "I looked out at our four Palominos, grazing here at the farm in the field above our house, and the idea just came to me -- PennPal, representing all the Palominos of our state, standing on one of our many Pennsylvania hills or mountains."
