SERVICE AUCTION
INFORMATION FOR MARE OWNERS

By bidding on a service, you as Mare Owner agree to all of PPEA's RULES FOR BIDDING and to all terms below. You clearly understand that PPEA acts only as an agent in arranging these breedings, and that you will need to sign a breeding contract with your Stallion Owner after purchasing a service through this auction.
Mare owners purchasing a breeding are responsible for all requirements and additional fees charged by the owner of the stallion whose service they purchase. Failure by you as a Mare Owner to read and/or undertand the rules, requirements, and/or the fees of your stallion owner prior to purchase of a service does NOT relieve you of these responsibilities. You are strongly encouraged to contact stallion owners with any questions you may have prior to bidding.
You as Mare Owner agree to sign a written Liability Release if/when asked by either PPEA or stallion owner. However you understand and agree that, whether or not you have signed a release, by your act of bidding on a service you shall completely and totally release and indemnify PPEA, its officers, and its members from all liability whatsoever for any accident, damage, injuries, or loss arising out of breeding activities or participation in the program, including but not limited to liability for negligence or gross negligence.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ANY OF THE ABOVE TERMS, PLEASE DO NOT BID ON ANY SERVICE IN THIS AUCTION.
Bidding begins at the minimum bid listed for each stallion, which includes one-half the stallion's advertised fee and the $10 office charge. All services are available to the first bid at minimum until each stallion's book closes in 2005.

No special form is necessary to purchase a breeding, just state the stallion you want, enclose a check made out to PPEA for the minimum bid, and enclose information about your mare (sending a copy of her papers is the easiest way to provide her information to us.)
