2004 PPEA Rosebud Run Horse Shows June 5-6, 2004 Bedford County Fairgrounds, Bedford PA PHBA Judges: DON COATS, St. Stevens CH VA, LORI GORDON, Avella PA & LISA WADSWORTH, New Hope PA; IBHA Judges: LORI GORDON, Avella PA & LISA WADSWORTH, New Hope PA; Open Show Judge: LINDSAY CLARK, Bedford PA PPEA's 2004 Rosebud Run enjoyed MUCH better weather in 2004 than we had in 2003; the sun was shining, the temperature was perfect, the humidity was low, and even the 17-year Brood X Cicadas (with their HUGE red eyes!) kept quiet during the show (well, sort of.) We had horses from Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia in our PHBA and IBHA classes. The BIG NEWS is that in addition to our regular Stock-Type classes our PHBA show had Saddlebreds, Tennessee Walkers, and Morgans -- enough entries for a two-point Pleasure-Type Stallion class and a 3-point Pleasure-Type Color! Welcome to our new member Audrey Glickman who worked in the Office on computer, and our "new" announcer -- our PPEA President Vernon Mast. Vernon filled in at the mic Sunday afternoon and he did a great job for his very first time. A star is born!?! Thank You to all our wonderful exhibitors (again from 6 states!), helpers, judges, and sponsors who helped make our 2004 Rosebud Run a success!
