SUNNY K JAZZ and Mary Beth Kuznik revive the FIESTA HORSE CLASS; held at our 2005 Rosebud Run for the first time anywhere in the country in decades. This class was a staple of the Golden Saddlebred and Pleasure Type Divisions from the beginnings of PHBA through the 1970s. FIESTA HORSE CLASS is a rail class which features the horses doing a walk, parade gait, halt, and executing a "side pass" (similar to a dressage haunches-in) while performing to Spanish Music. It is currently recognized by PHBA only for Pleasure Type and Golden Saddlebreds (so for Jazz, who is a Foundation Quarter Horse, this was not an "official" PHBA class); however PHA does recognize it for all Palominos. The tack is a genuine Ted Flowers "Spirit of '76" outfit.
