EASY DIRECTIONS TO BEDFORD FAIRGROUNDS FROM EVERYWHERE!
PA Turnpike (I-70/76)
Take the PA Turnpike to Bedford, PA Exit (Exit 11). After toll, turn right, follow Business 220 into Bedford. Turn right onto Pitt Street (Business US 30) and go about 1 mile to Fairground on your left. Turn left on Fairlane Road just before the Coin-Op Laundry. Note that Fairlane is marked "No Outlet", that's OK; it's the entrance to the horse show part of the grounds!
Alternate Route from PA Turnpike (avoiding town): Turn left after paying toll; left again at next light. This puts you onto I-99/220. Go south (towards Cumberland). You will pass Route 30 Exits (both east and west). Take the next exit (BEDFORD Exit ). At end of exit ramp, turn left onto Pitt Street (you will see the fairground on your left as you turn). Go about 3 tenths of a mile to Fairlane Road and turn left (see above).
I-99/Route 220
Take the BEDFORD EXIT on I-99/220 (not Business 220 or Route 30 East or Route 30 West Exits!). At end of exit ramp, turn left onto Pitt Street (you will see the fairground on your left as you turn). Go about 3 tenths of a mile to Fairlane Road and turn left (see above).
Routes 30-31
The Fairground is directly on Business Route 30 (Pitt Street west ), just WEST of the main part of the town of Bedford. If travelling east (from Somerset/Greensburg) on Routes 30-31be sure to take Business 30 (not the By-Pass) toward downtown Bedford. Watch shortly for Coin-Op Laundry on your right and then immediate turn right onto Fairlane Road at the fairground (see above).
Construction Notice
Taking Route 30 EAST of Bedford (to or from Breezewood) is NOT recommended right now due to current major construction on 30 east of Bedford. Take the Turnpike instead, you'll be glad you did!

Bedford PA is a small, safe, friendly, quaint, and very historical town. It was a major stop on the Forbes Road which in the 1700's brought settlers over the Allegheny Mountains and opened the way west. Today, little Bedford remains a crossroads with very easy access to major highways and excellent motels & dining. Bedford's many conveniences include gas stations and restaurants open 24-hours. There are a lot of interesting attractions in Bedford and great shopping, especially if you like antiques!
